Before you came to Brookes what did you study and where?

A2 Level: History of Art, Mathematics, Graphic Design, Business Studies, Attendance at Christ's Hospital boarding school, Horsham, West Sussex

What made you choose Brookes as a place to study?

Initially accepted on the Architecture degree, chosen as it was a reputable establishment, however changed to Construction Management. Obviously the city is a major aspect in why I chose to come to Oxford

What do you think of the course now that you're here?

I think that the modules undertaken are extremely interesting, and am starting to see the overall relevance of topics taught now I have been working in the industry

What do you think of the industrial placement aspect of your course?

I think that the Industrial placement element is extremely useful, and with hindsight think that the part time course would have been more beneficial to my learning

What are your plans for when you've completed your course, for work or further study?

Seek further employment in Construction, in project management

What are the best bits of studying at Brookes?

The 24 hour library facilities are extremely useful. Located in a magnificent city. It is a reputable establishment.

What advice do you have for others?

I really would recommend doing Construction Management as a part time degree, as it is a vocational course and feel a lot more could be gained from learning and working at the same time
