Questions and answers:

Before you came to Brookes what did you study and where?

I was working in the trade as a plasterer / general builder.

What made you choose Brookes as a place to study?

After my interview and meeting some of the lectures I really liked the feel of the university. I loved Oxford city and the good transport links as I was a commuter. I also chose Brookes because of the opportunity of getting a placement with Leadbitter which was part of what the course offered.

What do you think of the course now that you're here?

I found the course enjoyable and challenging.

What are the best bits of studying at Brookes?

The friendly environment.

What advice do you have for others?

Brookes and the course I have chosen have given me the opportunity to further my career in construction. It has also given me the opportunity to secure a job once I complete my final year of study. This has given me a great starting block especially due to the current economical climate and lack of job opportunities once finishing university. I would recommend Brookes and also the BSc (Hons) Construction Project Management course to any new students thinking about applying.
