Brookes at UN-Habitat III Conference in Ecuador

Professor Ramin Keivani and Dr Henry Abanda from School of the Built Environment will be holding a networking event at the UN-Habitat III Conference this year in Quito, Ecuador. The conference runs from 17-20 October with the networking event taking place on Wednesday 19 October at the conference venue, Casa de la Cultura Ecuatoriana “Benjamin Carrion”.

The workshop is entitled “Building Information Modelling (BIM) as a tool for capacity building for sustainable housing upgrading in informal settlements.” Henry Abanda will be a panel member for the event which will be moderated by Ramin Keivani. Other panel members include Prof Alex Abiko of the University of Sao Paulo, Dr Maximillian Bock from University of Cambridge, Dr Cassidy Johnson of the Bartlett Development Planning Unit at UCL, Mr Gregor Herda of UN-Habitat and Ms Carmen Antuna Rozado from VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
